Resize in a snap
Easily resize windows by dragging them to the edges of the screen with the Windows 7 Snap feature.
How it works
Compare two windows by simply dragging one to the left side of the screen and the other to the right side. The two windows will immediately snap into place side-by-side for an easy comparison.
To quickly maximize a window, drag it to the top of the screen. To make long documents easier to read, vertically stretch the window by dragging it to the bottom of the screen.
Give it a shake
Need to focus on just one window but have a bunch open? Shake things up a bit with the Windows 7 Aero Shake feature.
How it works
Click on the window you wish to focus on, wiggle your mouse, and watch all the other windows drop out of sight. Shake that window one more time and all the other ones will instantly re-appear!
Take a peek
See through all your open windows to instantly view hidden desktop files and gadgets using the Windows 7 Aero Peek feature.
How it works
Simply hover your mouse over the right edge of the taskbar and watch all open windows become transparent. Move the mouse away and your windows are back. Click on the right edge of the taskbar to minimize all open windows, and click again to return them to their open state. You can also quickly view a buried window by moving your pointer over its thumbnail on the taskbar.
